Chicken CS Beginner Guide
Just dropped into Chicken CS? This guide covers the basics so you can stop respawning and start winning. You can play the game on our homepage while you read.
1. Choosing a map
Before a match you pick where to fight. The CrazyGames page lists maps such as New Year's Village, Chicken Pool and the Japanese Garden. Each has its own layout, so try a few and learn the routes on the one you like best.
2. Choosing a mode
Deathmatch is a race: the first to 8 wins takes it. It's the best mode for learning, because you can stick with a weapon you like. Gun Game changes your weapon every time you score a kill, so you have to adapt constantly. It's great practice for handling every gun in the game.
3. Your weapons
You carry four slots: main weapon (1), pistol (2), knife (3) and grenade (4). Press E to pick up a weapon from the map and R to reload.
4. Moving like a chicken
Standard WASD movement and Space to jump are only half the story. Your chicken can also climb walls, swim and fly. Use these to take shortcuts, reach rooftops and escape when you're losing a fight.
5. Rewards and skins
Eliminating opponents earns rewards that you can spend on weapon upgrades or new skins for your chicken. The game also runs tournaments for players who want a bigger challenge.
6. Leaving a match
Press Tab to exit active gameplay, for example to change settings.
